Here is every action that spends credits. Before anything is charged, the app shows you the cost and asks you to confirm.
AI Sourcing (the Source tab)
- A new search: up to 3 credits. Each search returns up to 300 ranked candidates.
- Load More: up to 3 credits. Fetches the next batch of up to 300 candidates for the same search.
You need at least 3 credits available to start either one. If a batch delivers fewer than 300 candidates, you're automatically refunded for the shortfall, so you pay roughly 0.01 credit per candidate delivered. Each batch keeps a minimum of 1 credit, and a batch that finds no candidates costs nothing.
Recruiting a candidate: 1 credit
Recruiting someone from your sourcing results, or through the Recruit tab, costs 1 credit per candidate. The credit covers finding their contact details and running the outreach for you. If a profile or contact details can't be found, you're notified and refunded. See Credit refunds.
You're not charged to recruit someone you've already unlocked, or someone who has already said yes to your company. Anyone your company contacted in the last 30 days is skipped and not charged.
Talent Network
- Request an Introduction: 1 credit. If your company had an introduction with the same candidate in the last 12 months, it's free. See Requesting an intro for when you can ask again after a candidate declines.
- Distributing a job to the Talent Network: free. Seeing that a candidate is interested is free too.
- Unlocking an interested candidate: 1 credit. When someone says they're interested in a job you distributed, their profile stays hidden until you unlock them, on the job's candidate list or on the Talent Network. If they haven't answered a paid introduction request from you yet, unlocking is free. Once unlocked, a candidate stays unlocked for your company. See Unlocking a profile.
If your account has promotional credits, they're used first for introductions and unlocks. They can't be used for anything else.
AI-Assisted Video Interview: 1 credit
Each video interview costs 1 credit and runs up to 15 minutes. If you cancel before the interview happens, you get the credit back. If the candidate never takes it, the credit comes back automatically. Interviews aren't available for candidates in certain states, and no credit is used if that applies.

- Adding someone to a job with Add to Job Pipeline, including sending the role to a candidate who already knows your company
Some AI-Assisted features, such as filling in a job from a description, need a credit balance above zero to use, but they don't spend credits.
