The RPO alternative
Outsource your recruiting function stateside.
Recruiting process outsourcing asks you to hand over part of your recruiting function to what is traditionally an offshore partner. Cherrypicker keeps your team in control while adding US-based outbound recruiting capacity to the roles that need it. Our Pay-As-You-Go model remains flexible as your hiring needs change.

RPO is built for sourcing lists, not for activating talent.
Recruiting process outsourcing does one thing very well - tackling high volume sourcing projects that weigh down an internal team.
However, the gap shows up at the next step. Building a target candidate list is not the same as getting strong passive candidates to reply. Most RPO delivery happens offshore, and that distance from your market shows in the outreach: messages that read as generic, that miss the context of the role, and that the best candidates scroll past. The people you most want to reach are the ones least likely to respond to something that does not sound like it came from someone who understands their world.
That is the part Cherrypicker takes on. Your recruiting function stays in-house, and our US-based team handles the outreach that turns a sourcing list into candidates who are genuinely interested in your role.
How Cherrypicker compares versus a traditional RPO
| Cherrypicker | Traditional RPO | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is built for | Activating passive talent through personalized outreach. | Building sourcing lists at volume. |
| Who reaches your candidates | A US-based team that knows the role and the market. | Frequently an offshore delivery team. |
| Who owns your recruiting function | You do. We add outbound capacity on top of your team. | The provider takes over part of it and runs it with their recruiters. |
| Flexibility as hiring changes | Pay-As-You-Go, role by role. A quiet month costs nothing. | A monthly retainer, usually on a contract of several months or longer. |
| Time to first candidate replies | About 48 hours from a campaign going live. | After an implementation and onboarding period. |

Pay-As-You-Go, when you need it most
Creating a company account is free. You only need to purchase Cherrypicker credits when you are ready to recruit candidates. Credit packages start at $1,500 for 300, one credit recruits one candidate, and a typical role fills within about 300 candidates. Credits are valid for 12 months and can be shared across your whole team.
Need help sourcing? Our sourcing team can build the target candidate list as an optional add on for $1,000 per role. There is no retainer, no minimum term and no placement fee when you hire, so a quiet hiring month costs you nothing.
