Inviting your team

Updated November 2, 2026

The owner and admins can invite teammates from Settings, under Team Members. Your teammate gets an email with a link to set their own password, so you never need to create or share one.

Invite a teammate

  1. Click your name at the bottom of the left sidebar, then click Settings.
  2. Under Company, click Team Members.
  3. Click Invite Member.
  4. Enter their Email and Full Name.
  5. Choose a Role: Member or Admin.
  6. Click Send Invite.

Your teammate gets an email from Cherrypicker with a Set my password button. They choose a password, accept the Terms of Service, and land in your workspace. The link works for 7 days and can only be used once.

Until they accept, they show under Pending invites on the Team Members page.

Give each person their own login. A Cherrypicker account can only be signed in on one browser at a time, so a shared login keeps signing people out.

If you see a message that the email already has a Cherrypicker account, use a different address for them, or contact support to move their account to your workspace.

If the invite doesn't arrive

Invitation emails sometimes land in spam or get held by a company email filter. Ask your teammate to check their spam or junk folder first. Then, on the Team Members page, click the ... menu next to them under Pending invites:

  • Resend invite emails a fresh link. The old link stops working.
  • Copy invite link copies the link so you can send it yourself, for example through Slack or your own email. Only send it to the person it's for: anyone with the link can use it to join your workspace.
  • Cancel invite turns the link off. You can invite them again later.

If the link has expired, choose Resend invite to send a new one. Your teammate can also go to the sign-in page, click Forgot password, and enter their email: if they have an open invite, we'll send it again.

What teammates share

Everyone on your team works from the same company workspace and the same credit balance. Adding a teammate doesn't use any credits.

Admins can add and manage teammates; members can't. For everything each role can do, see Roles and permissions.

Change or remove a teammate

On the Team Members page, click the ... menu next to a teammate:

  • Promote to Admin or Change to Member changes their role.
  • Disable Access stops them signing in right away and moves them to the Disabled list. To turn it back on, open the ... menu next to them in that list and choose Re-enable Access.
  • Remove Permanently removes their access to your workspace.

Disabling or removing someone doesn't delete their work. Their jobs, introductions, and activity stay with your company.

You can't change your own role or remove yourself, and nobody can change or remove the owner. To transfer ownership, contact support.
