The Talent Network is Cherrypicker's private pipeline of vetted candidates who have chosen to be discoverable. Browsing is free. Requesting an introduction or unlocking someone who showed interest in a job distributed to the network uses a credit.
Open it from Talent Network in the sidebar.
Searching and filtering
Use the Filters panel at the top of the page to narrow the list:
- Search: job title. On candidates you've unlocked, you can also search by name or company
- Years of Experience: a minimum and maximum range
- Attributes: skills on the candidate's profile
- Salary: the candidate's minimum salary requirement
- Location and Radius (Miles): type the name of a city and set the search radius to search for candidates in that local area
- Filter by Job Project: fills in the filters from one of your jobs, so you can search for that role in one click
- Candidate Status: Actively Looking or Passively Looking
- Work Type: Remote, Hybrid or On-site
Click Search to apply. Your filters stay set when you leave the page and come back, until you click Reset.
To reuse a set of filters, click Saved, name the search under Save this search, and pick it from the same menu next time. Saving under a name you've already used replaces that search, and the trash icon deletes one.
When you filter by a job, a Re-run Matching button appears. Use it if recently joined candidates aren't showing for that job yet.
What each row shows
Every candidate shows their current title, a Status (Actively Looking or Passively Looking), years of experience, required salary and location.
To see more, click the eye icon for a quick preview, or click the title for the full profile. You'll see work history by title and dates, skills, education level, and work preferences.
Names, photos, employer names, schools and contact details stay hidden until the candidate agrees to talk with you. See Why some profiles are anonymous.
The Action column
- Request an Introduction: ask to connect. See Requesting an intro.
- Pending Introduction: you've asked and they haven't answered yet.
- Interested · Unlock candidate: they said they're interested in one of your jobs. See Unlocking a profile.
- Chat: they've agreed to talk, so you can message them.
- No response yet: you know who they are, but they haven't agreed to talk, so there's no Chat button yet.
- Available in Nd: they passed on a recent request, and you can ask again when the countdown ends. The wait is up to 30 days.
Working with several candidates
Tick the boxes next to candidates to act on them together. Your options depend on who you've ticked.
If any of them are still hidden:
- Request Introduction, which is greyed out if any of them already have a request pending.
- Add to Job Pipeline.
If you can see all of them in full:
- Add to Job Pipeline.
- Screen and Chat, one candidate at a time.
- Export to CSV.
- Add to your ATS, if you've connected one.
You won't see anyone who works or has worked at your company in the Talent Network.
