Promo credits

Updated November 4, 2026

Promotional credits are free credits that Cherrypicker adds to your company's account so you can try recruiting from the Talent Network. They can only be used on the Talent Network.

What promo credits can pay for

Promo credits cover the two Talent Network actions that cost a credit:

  • Request an Introduction to a Talent Network candidate
  • Unlock · 1 credit on a candidate who said they're interested in a job you distributed

They can't be used for AI Sourcing, recruiting through the Recruit tab, or AI-Assisted Video Interviews. Those always use your paid credits.

Promo credits also don't count as a credit balance for AI-Assisted features, such as filling in a job from a description, and they don't lift the limit of 2 active Talent Tickers. Both need paid credits. You can still post a job by typing in the details yourself.

How they're spent

When you take one of the Talent Network actions above and it costs a credit, Cherrypicker uses a promo credit first. Once your promo credits run out, the same actions use your paid credits instead. You don't need to choose which balance to use.

Where to see them

Promo credits are kept separate from your paid balance. On the Credits & Billing page, look at the Available Credits card. If you have any, they appear in their own row labeled Promotional (Talent Network only). They aren't included in the main Available Credits number, because that number is what you can spend on everything. The Talent Network page also shows them next to your credits.

Promo credits you've spent don't appear on the Activity tab, which lists paid credits only. You can see them on the Results tab, shown as promotional.

How to get them

Promo credits are granted by the Cherrypicker team. They can't be bought. Some promotional grants come with an expiry date; if yours does, any unused promo credits from that grant lapse on that date. To check whether yours expire, email support@getcherrypicker.com.
